‘Give therapy a go, until you’ve tried it you can’t have any idea how much working with someone to improve the way you feel can help you and the people in your life’

Chris

Chris is a therapist and has worked in mental health for over 15yrs .  While his first degree is psychology  he decided to move away from that area to one that seemed more people orientated and today he is an Accredited Mental Health Social worker.  Chris enjoys working with people, helping them solve their problems through therapy and education.

Chris is experienced in CBT and ACT orientated approaches.  He can provide interpersonal and intrapersonal therapy.  Like Sasha, Chris also has an interest in existential therapy  and how we find meaning and purpose in difficult times.

Chris can also talk to you about understanding your attachment style.  Your attachment style influences who you are as a person but also how you relate to others.  This can be particularly useful in understanding your relationship with your partner or your children.

Chris is also interested in supporting parents who have a child with mental health issues and helping them to understand what might be going on for the young person and how to manage all the issues that can arise around the illness and other social needs.

Chris can help you with:

  • Therapy
  • Trauma
  • Attachment
  • Counselling
  • Mindfullness
  • Coaching
  • Mentoring
  • Personal Development

If you are someone who stuggles to think therapy is for you (we’re looking at you men and young men) Chris can take time to explain what therapy is and how it works.

Chris provides his service face-to-face or via Skype / Zoom and the telephone.
